The Evangelical Center is hosting a new program in 2025-2026.

Participants will be learning, practicing, and speaking to each other in “the old Greek”, all day long, in and out of sessions. This is a unique opportunity and a unique seminar. Many persons involved in Bible translation around the world have needed a way to “internalize” the language of the Greek New Testament efficiently and so that they can start to feel and think in the language. The Center will provide a nine-month home for such persons. Both specialists in the old language and relative beginners will work with each other and encourage each other in this special seminar.
                                                    
Some of the idea for this seminar came from the tragedy of the war in Israel in Oct 2023. A school for Bible translators learning Hebrew in a 9-month immersion setting needed an emergency refuge. The Evangelical Center provided a home away from home for them for seven weeks. To use the Hebrew idiom קל וחומר «light and heavy» (that is “How much more!”, cf. Mt 6: 30): how much more could this Center in Greece provide a special home for those who want to work on Greek? For those who want to internalize the old Koiné dialect, Intensely, in as short a time as possible? This seminar will be an exciting challenge for a dedicated group,
